Integrity, honor, discipline, selfless, loyal, intellectually curious, and the courage of his convictions to see everything through walking through a life leaving a footprint defined by character unmatched through the eyes of his son. My father graduated life with honors. He got his bachelors in being a friend, uncle and brother, a masters in being a father and a PHD in showing his son how to be a husband and true life partner. My father wrote the real life script to the notebook with my mother and together they shared 44 years and gave all of us a glimpse of what true love in all it's forms is defined by. The sun will forever rise and set in my fathers eyes when he looks down on my mother. Thank you Dad for giving me the greatest gift a father like you can give, your name. I will carry your name and all the life lessons you layed upon my doorstep with pride and a committment to carry on your legacy proudly. My mother asked me to wear things of my fathers to honor him at his passing but thankfully she never asked me to wear his shoes, those are impossible to fill and would never fit. I know my father knew I loved him in his final days but what I want the world to know is he was my HERO!!! Thank you dad for all the immeasurable gifts you have given me that I will pass on to my son to keep your spirit and your name alive. May you dance with the angels and the wind always be at your back, until we meet again dad. I LOVE YOU now and forever.

Loretta I just found out about Steve Im sorry I was away and Tim just told me. I haven't seen him or you for a while but he was a good friend I new if I needed anything I could call him and he would be there to help. We had good times coaching soccer and I think we did real good at it and the kids had a good time playing. Had good talks at the kitchen table talking about things. Now Shelley has a good friend with her and I know Steve will watch out for her. He was a good friend and a good person. If I can due anything for you please let me know....

Loretta and Steve. I am very sorry to hear about Steve's passing. Some of my fondest memories as a young boy involved the times I spent at your and Steve's house in Waterford, where me and Steve would play, and also having Steve and my dad coach us as kids. I am very thankful that recently I got to see Steve and talk to him for a few minutes while I was at the store, and as ill as he was, he still had a smile on his face and was interested in knowing how me, my son, and family were doing, he was a great guy, and I know he will be greatly missed. Our family's thoughts and prayers are with you.

Uncle Steve - set the gold standard for what it means to be a man -- the epitome of integrity --- never had to choose between right and wrong because for him there was ever only one choice - the right one. Debbie Pelletier

To my friend Steve There is so much I can say about my best friend Steve but I just want to remember him for the joy and laughter he brought into my life.Whether up or down he always smiled and had his devious laugh. When around him he was a man who showed no fear for what life had dealt him. When we talked Lakers and basketball or challenged each other with scary movie tales he was the best. His greatest passion in life was his love for his one and only Loretta. He was just the friend I admired in this crazy world.I just want to remember his laugh, his knowledge and his courage.God bless you buddy and hopefully you are sitting on the side lines with all your heros.Because truely you are a hero and roll model to me and I will always look to you in heaven to show me the how to face adversity.Thank you for being my friend I will cherish that for as long as I live and your name will always be on my lips so that you will never be forgotten.Go Lakers take my friend in your arms and lead him to heaven. Love always your friend Michael Dunn P.S. I hope they have roku(netflix) in heaven and a keurig coffee maker(breakfast blend)

Loretta, I am so sorry for your loss. Steve was such a great guy I think about him all the time. Regretting that I didn't make more visits after I moved away. I miss having such a great neighbor, I loved having chats on the porch with him and sharing our love for animals. He always was so good to me and my crazy cat and even stuck up for him when he was always in trouble. Such a great guy he will forever be in your heart and mine as well. Prayers are with you.
