The Angels came and took Kathleen King Mihaly, 94, formerly of Cohoes, who died at Van Rensselaer Manor on Monday August 11, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Rector, Arkansas, daughter of the late Luther and Lura Cochran King. She was an accountant for Barclay Home Products, Cohoes. Predeceased by her husband, Rev. Alfred Mihaly, her son Mark Mihaly, and son –in-law Steve Smith. She is survived by her children, Alfreda (Gary)Hein of Tinton Falls, N.J., Janelle (Phil)Thornton of Nashville, Tenn., Sue Smith of Cohoes, Nan (Paul) Heroux of Cohoes, and Lori Winters of Dalton, Ma, also survived by 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and several neices and nephews.
Funeral Friday 10 AM at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes with Pastor Duke Hergatt Officiating
Interment in Broadalbin-Mayfield Rural Cemetery, Broadalbin, N.Y. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 to 7pm. Contributions in Kathleen’s memory can be made to the Activities Program at Van Rensselaer Manor, 85 Bloomingrove Drive, Troy, NY 12180.
