Obituary of Christine M. Fleury

Waterford – Christine M. Fleury, 69, of Flamingo Lane, Waterford died at St. Mary’s Hospital, Troy with her family by her side on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 after a short illness. She was born in Gardner, MA and was the daughter of the late Charles and Emelia Dill Guetti. She was a 1962 graduate of Bennington Catholic High School and graduated as a Registered Nurse from Southern Vermont College. She worked at Cohoes Memorial Hospital, Leonard Hospital and retired as head nurse on Unit 3 at the Eddy Ford Nursing Home in Cohoes. She loved to work outdoors with her flowers and loved to travel. She is survived by her husband, Francis Fleury of Waterford, her children, Francis (Jane) Fleury of Clifton Park, Michelle (Scott) Aubin of Waterford and Melissa (Joseph) Finn of Cohoes. Sister of Curtis Guetti of Franklin, Kentucky, Steven Guetti of Bernardston, MA., Anthony Guetti of Bennington, VT. , Pamela Guetti of Bennington, VT and Charles Guetti, Jr. of Mora MN. Grandmother of Dr. Katherine and Laura Dinicola, Emily and Jared Aubin, Madeline and Meghan Finn, also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Friday, 9:30am at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Waterford where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford. Relatives and friends may call at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes on Thursday from 4 to 8pm.
