Obituary of Gabrielle A Curran

Cohoes – Gabrielle A. Curran, 96, of Wilmer Avenue, Cohoes died at her residence on Saturday, February 9, 2013 after a brief illness. Born in Cohoes and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Emily Daley Fanniff. She retired from NYS Civil Service. She was predeceased by her husband, Matthew Curran and her daughter Maureen Emily Ausiello. She is survived by her son-in-law, Frank Ausiello of Cohoes, her grandchildren, Karley Ausiello (Matt) Brackett of Boston, Frank Ausiello of Cohoes, Jill (Anthony) Greier of Hopewell Junction, N.Y., her great grandchildren Petra and Elowen Brackett, Anthony James and Colton Greier, also survived by several nieces and nephews. Sister of the late George, Rudolph, Harry and James Fanniff, Ethel Rourke and Elaine Howard. Funeral Thursday 10AM at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes with Rev. James Ebert officiating. Internment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 to 6pm.
