Obituary of Robert Kelly

Hadley, N.Y. – Robert Kelly, 79, formerly of Cohoes and of Hadley IRA passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Thursday, August 8, 2013. Born and educated in Cohoes and was the son of the late Edward and Helen England Kelly. Bob touched the hearts of all who knew him. He enjoyed being surrounded by his family. He loved his pipe! He was honored for being a Good Samaritan for returning a lost envelope containing some money while cleaning up the parking lot. He had a smile that stole everyone’s heart. He will be missed by everyone. He was predeceased by his siblings, Helen Malo, Dorothy Erno, Margaret Mitale, Walter Kelley, Frank Kelly and William Kelly. He is survived by his sisters, Elizabeth Fedorshanko of Cohoes, Theresa Erno of Clifton Park and Eileen Labarge of Cohoes, his brothers, Harold Kelly of Watervliet, John Kelley of Lansingburgh and James Kelly of Clifton Park, also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral 10:00am Monday at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes with Rev. James Ebert officiating. Interment in St. Agnes Cemetery, Cohoes. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 4pm.
