Obituary of David M. Hood

Cohoes – David M. Hood, 74, of N Erie Street, Cohoes died at Albany Medical Center Hospital, Friday, March 21, 2014 after being stricken at his home. Born in Plattsburg, educated in Troy, he was the son of the late Martin and Frances Selover Hood. He was a truck driver for many years. He is survived by his children, Phil Hood, Daniel Hood, Sandra Hood, Martin (Vikki) Hood, and he raised and fathered Donald Cleveland, Rebecca Cleveland, Elizabeth Cleveland, Mark, Cleveland, Martha Cleveland and Lori Cleveland. Brother of Judith Quinlivan and the late Patricia Prusik and Sandra Thomas, also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral Tuesday 7:00pm at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes with Rev. Nick TeBordo officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 to 7:00pm.
