Obituary of Anne-Marie C. Roy

Anne-Marie C. Arneault Roy, 74, of Cohoes passed away suddenly at Florida Hospital Celebration Health, Celebration, Florida on Wednesday, February 28, 2018.  She was born in Cohoes and graduated from Shaker High School.  Daughter of the late Alfred and Claire Bourgeois Arneault.  Anne-Marie was active in the Church of the Holy Trinity, Cohoes as a Eucharistic Minister and the choir.  She retired from St. Coleman’s as a Teacher’s Assistant. But her greatest love was her family and her home.  Wife of 55 years to Donald Roy of Cohoes.  Mother of Donna (John) Klingbeil of Colonie, Diane (Joseph) Sheridan of Loudonville and Denise (Robert) Elwell of Brunswick.  Grandmother of Rebecca, Patrick and Eileen Kennedy, Erin Klingbeil, Melissa and Michael Sheridan, Lindsey Elwell, Martin and Emily Klingbeil.  Sister of Lillian (Richard) Cunniff and Sandra Arneault (Michael Pugliano), also survived by a nephew Kevin and a niece Karyn.  The funeral will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018, 10:00 am at the Church of the Holy Trinity, Cohoes where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Concelebrated by Rev. Donald Bourgeois and Rev. Geoffrey Burke.  Interment will follow in Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY.  Relatives and friends may call at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes on Thursday, from 4 to 7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in her memory.
