Ballston Lake – Lawrence (Larry) C. King, 78, of Ballston Lake passed away at Saratoga Hospital on Sunday, December 17, 2017. Born in Altona, NY, educated in Cohoes, he was the son of the late Urles and Evelyn King. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. He was a technician at Albany International for 30 years before retiring. Larry was an avid golfer, he liked fishing, playing cards and he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loved to keep busy. He is survived by his wife, Annette Jean King of Ballston Lake, his children, Larry King (Cheryl Maxon) of Berlin, NY, Darren King of Colonie and Tina King of Ballston Spa, his grandchildren Laura, Jeremy, Kasey, Christopher and Tyler and 2 great grandchildren, Carson and Jasper. Brother of Veronica (Ed) Stevens of Saratoga Springs, Geraldine Picard of Ballston Lake and the late Orrin King, Barbara Nutting and Gloria Zullo, also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 6:30pm with Deacon Charles Valenti. The family will receive friends at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes from 4 to 7pm prior to service.
