Obituary of Louise G. Vergoni

Louise G. Vergoni, 93, passed away at Samaritan Hospital on Sunday Dec. 8, 2013 after a long and beautiful life. Born in Cohoes on November 19, 1920, she was the daughter of Pietro and Maria Baldini Vergoni. Louise is survived by her sister, Ann Mroczkowski of Cohoes and was predeceased by sisters, Ardwina Vergoni, Lena Cutturini, Josephine Pusatere, Atillia Reed, and brothers, Marsino and Joseph, (Peppy) Vergoni. “Weesa” as she was lovingly known, was the favorite aunt, and great aunt to her adoring nieces, Patti Shaw, Kelly Shaw-Brennan and daughter Isabelle, Ginny Ryan, Jennifer Sala and son Ryan and nephew Marsino Mroczkowski and daughter Sara as well as numerous other nieces and nephews. She will be remembered always with much respect and gratitude for her endless love and devotion to her family, extended family and to all who were blessed to have known her. A heartfelt thanks to Anerea Brajac for the love, care and compassion she showered upon Louise. At Louise’s request, there will be no viewing hours. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 175 Williams Road, Troy on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at 10:00am. Inurnment at the convenience of the family in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Waterford at a later date.
