– Shirley M. Dolan LeCuyer, 90, formerly of Grant Street, Cohoes, passed away at Van Rensselaer Manor on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 after a long illness. Born in Troy, educated in St. Patrick's School, Troy, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Melvina LaPlante Dolan. She was a cutter at Behr Manning in Watervliet and belonged to the Nashua golfing league. A parishioner of the former St. Agnes Church and a parishioner of the Church of the Holy Trinity, Cohoes and was a Eucharistic Minister. Wife of the late William B. LeCuyer. Mother of Edward G. (Margaret) L'Ecuyer of England and grandmother of Lionel W. L'Ecuyer and Grace S. L'Ecuyer both of England. Sister of Jean (George) Hillje of Latham and Deloris Hurd of Troy and the late Joseph Dolan and Lois Guild, survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Monday 9:00am at the Church of the Holy Trinity, Cohoes where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Waterford. Relatives and friends may call at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes on Sunday from 2 to 5 pm. Those who wish to remember Shirley in a special way may donate to the Alzheimer's Association in her memory.
