Type Obit Here– Elizabeth Taylor Crable, 101, a lifelong resident of Cohoes, passed away at Pine Valley Home, Hoosick Falls on Saturday, August 12, 2017. Born February 21, 1916, she was the daughter of the late John E. Taylor, Sr. and Mary Adriance. Elizabeth graduated from Cohoes High School Class of 1933 and Albany Business College. She was employed by the NYS Department of Labor. A life member of the United Church of Cohoes, she was recognized with the most years as a member and was part of their Women's Service League. Elizabeth was a member of the Cohoes Community Center and loved her swimming aerobics class. Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Leonard J. Crable, daughter Kathryn Crable and brother Captain John (Jack) Taylor USN. She is survived by her daughter Lynne (Nicholas) Santoro of Fort Myers, FL, a son James Crable (the late Kristen) of Lake George, grandmother of Scott (Kristen) Santoro of Beverly, MA, Kathryn (Michael) Novak of Winter Garden, FL, Karrah and James Crable of Cohoes and great grandchildren. Funeral Wednesday, August 16, 2017 11:00am at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes with Pastor Nick TeBordo officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens, Colonie. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 11, prior to the service.
