Elsa T. Stark Gagnon, 73, of Cohoes passed away at Sunnyview Rehab Hospital, Schenectady on Monday, August 7, 2017 after a short illness. Born and educated in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Elsie Peltier Stark. She belonged to the Cohoes Senior Center. Wife of the late Mitchell Gagnon. Mother of Edward Gagnon of Cohoes and Elsa Vandenburgh of Berlin, 5 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Sister of Sandra Peltier, Dorothy Kelly, Suzanne Jesmain, Harry Stark and the late Patricia Ladue, Joan Searles and Charles Stark. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Monday, August 14, 2017 at 6:30pm at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes with Pastor Nick TeBordo officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 5 to 7 pm.
