Cohoes – Sherry L. French Muzio, 51, of Cohoes, passed away at her home on Monday, June 26, 2017 after a long illness. Born in Troy, she graduated from Cohoes High School, Class of 1984 and is the daughter of Jean McCarthy of Cohoes and the late Robert French. She worked as tenant relations officer for the Cohoes Housing Authority. Survivors in addition to her mother is her husband, Michael Muzio of Cohoes, her children Shannon (Joshua) Willett of Cohoes, Michael Muzio of Cohoes and Emma Lamoureaux of Troy and soon to be grandmother of Madilyn. Sister of Thomas (Mary Fran) Wachunas of West Sand Lake, William Wachunas of Arizona, Charles (Debbie) French of South Carolina and Jody French of Cohoes, also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Friday, June 30, 2017 6:00pm at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes with Pastor Nick TeBordo officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 4 to 7pm. Those who wish to remember Sherry in a special way may donate to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY in her memory.»(Do not delete this line. It does not print.
