Colonie – Richard (Ricky) H. Barnhart, 61, formerly of Colonie, passed away in Zephyrhills, Florida on November 15, 2024. He was born in Rochester, NY and graduated from Colonie High School, Class of 1981. Son of the late Richard E. and Kathy Barnhart, and son of Heidi Saarleinen of Tacoma, Washington. The King Viking rode to Heaven on his Harley. Father of Ashley (Jason) Brown of Gorham, Maine, Shelby Barnhart of Schenectady, NY, Stepfather of Leslie Lamirande of Wynantskill, NY and Patricia Kane of Troy, NY, grandfather of Devan and Layla Brown. Brother of Lynda Barnhart Elbettah, Billy Coon, and Kelly Desantis, also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 5:00pm at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 3 to 5 prior to the service.
