Obituary of Beata H Nash

Florida – Beata H. Nash, 53, of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away at Albany Medical Center, Hospital on Friday, November 8, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born in Krakov, Poland and was the daughter of Halina Durska and the late Joseph Karas. She was educated in St. Michael’s School, Cohoes, graduated from Catholic Central High School, Troy and graduated from Siena College, Loudonville with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. She worked for General Electric in Schenectady as an accountant for many years. Survivors in addition to her mother are her sons, Zachary (Amber) Nash of Florida and Justin (Riley)Nash of Florida. Sister of Walter Karas, Andrew (Katje) Karas, Stan (Tanya) Karas and Joseph (Valerie) Karas, also survived by nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at 7:15pm. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 to 7:15 prior to the service.
