Cohoes – Katherine L. Wilcox, 66, of Cohoes passed away at Samaritan Hospital, Troy on Thursday, September 12, 2024, with her family by her side. She was born in Michigan and was the daughter of Dorothy Geletzke Deitrich of Cohoes and the late Dennis Wilcox. She graduated from Cohoes High School and attended Hudson Valley Community College receiving a degree in catering and Early Child Development. Katherine was Produce Manager at Price Chopper in Cohoes and Menands for many years. She liked to cook, bake, and play cards. She loved family gatherings, her friends, and her Church. Survivors in addition to her mother are her children, Steven (Vilden) Wilcox of Cohoes, Nancy (Dave) Tuttle of Selkirk, Marcus (Amy) Willette of Cohoes, Ryan (Kate) Willette of Watervliet, Adam (Rachael) Saint of Guilderland and Jeffrey (April) Saint of CA, many grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Sister of Nancy Desautels, Carl Deitrich, Francis Deitrich, David Deitrich, and the late Dennis Wilcox. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes on Thursday September 19, 2024, at 7PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 to 7pm prior to the service.
