Please share a memory of Joanna to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Cohoes – Joanna “JoJo” Mildred Pacholik, the angels have come to take one of their own home. Now Joanna is with our Dad and Mom. She will be forever in my heart and the hearts of all who loved her. Born February 1, 1967, to Joseph and June Pacholik and her sister and best friend, Holly. Joanna was our gift from God and made our family complete. With her came lots of love, sunshine and joy and hugs! Joanna loved everyone and always gave the sign of love with her hand. Isn’t that what the world needs and should always do-love one another. Joanna was here on earth to bring hope and peace to the world. May each of you continue her mission. Joanna went to many schools,  she received her certificate from Cohoes High School and also went to Oakwood Central Park Middle and Maywood. She went onward to Riverside Enterprises from July 11, 1988, to April 21, 2006. She then attended Brunswick Center Services, where Todd and Laurie were her best friends. She loved all who crossed her path. Joanna loved boat rides on the Minnie Ha-ha at Lake George, drawing, music, dancing, and Life! Going to camp Cohoes always with her guitar onto the bus. Cohoes Special Olympics where she won first place in softball throw and second place in 50-meter run. Had the time of her life! She was a member of the United Church of Cohoes. And yes, she believed in Jesus! She loved going for rides with Holly, wherever the roads took us! Finding new things and adventures and picnics. Oh yes and beautiful clothes. Most of all she loved her family with all her heart! When you think of her, think of butterflies, blue and pink, smiles and hugs, and love bigger than the outdoors. She is predeceased by her Dad and Mom, her grandparents George and Mildred Merrill and Peter and Helen Pacholik and brother-in-law Jim Spofford. Survivors include her sister, Holly Spofford. She loved her cousins. Many kisses to Tricia and Tom. When the wind blows and sweeps across your face it is a kiss from above. Thank you for all the years you took good care of Joanna, Dr. Sunkin, Dr. Figge, Dr. Kenneth March and all your nurses and staff, you all loved her so very much! A big hug of Thanks to Donna Heffernan MD and Stephanie from Home Medical, all the wonderful people who helped to make the end of her journey the best it could be, The Community Hospice, I thank you from my heart, Jake, Penny, Jen and so many more.
