Obituary of Mary Jo Angley
In Loving Memory of MaryJo Angley, cherished wife, devoted mother, loving grandmother, sister, and a beloved friend, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2024, at age 82 surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 5, 1942, in Cohoes, NY, MaryJo was the daughter of Mary Rose and Joseph Tousignant. She grew up with a love for crocheting, which she carried throughout her life, and her beloved dogs, Sheba, Penny, Missy, and Sassy. MaryJo was married to her husband, Thomas Angley, and together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. MaryJo was the proud mother of sons Mark, Michael, Matthew, and Sean, whom she adored and dedicated her life to nurturing and supporting. MaryJo was one of four siblings including brothers Ronald (deceased) and Lawrence and sister Carolyn (deceased). In her free time, MaryJo enjoyed drinking a hot cup of tea, and she found great joy in spending time with her most recent dog, Sassy. Her love for her family was evident to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. MaryJo’s kindness, and lively spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. She was known for her kind smile, infectious laugh, warm heart, and the ability to make everyone feel welcome and right at home. MaryJo is survived by her children, Mark (Susan), Michael, Matthew, and Sean (Dessy), her grandchildren, Coty, Kelly, Gabriella, Alexia and Bailey, her great grandchildren, Camdyn, Chaynce, Cayden, and Emmanuel. She will be deeply missed and forever held in the hearts of those who loved her. The family will receive friends at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes on Monday, July 22, 2024, from 6 to 8pm.
