Obituary of Beth Ann Bouleris
Ballston Lake – Beth Ann Haggerty Bouleris, 64, of Ballston Lake passed away at her home with her soulmate and husband, James of 45 years and loving daughter, Nadine by her side on June 1, 2024. Beth and James met on a blind date set up by their friends in 1976 and were married in Averill Park, NY on June 2, 1979. She is survived by her loving and beautiful daughter, Nadine R. Bouleris Hallenbeck and son-in-law Jason Hallenbeck of Venice, Florida, her mother Constance Haggerty, brothers Mark Haggerty, Matthew Haggerty (Mariann), David Haggerty (Michelle) and Lisa Haggerty Harris (Anthony), as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many loving friends. Beth Ann died after a 2-year courageous battle from brain cancer. She loved telling corny jokes to everyone and bringing smiles to their faces. She was born in Troy, NY on September 11, 1959, to her loving parents, Constance, and Robert Haggerty. She graduated from Averill Park High School in 1977. She was predeceased by her father, Robert G. Haggerty and her 3-year-old daughter, Amber Marie Bouleris. Beth Ann grew up in Poestenkill with her three brothers and one sister. Beth joined several clubs as a young girl, including 4H and DECA where she won several ribbons and awards. Beth was a secretary at the Troy Savings Bank and the Hoenig Law Firm before going to the Martin Law Firm where she worked for Robert Johnson III, Esq. for nearly 40 years. She attended HVCC for a secretarial career and attended the College of St. Rose and earned a certificate under the4 paralegal studies program through the generosity of Mr. Johnson. Beth retired in December of 2021. Beth was a co-leader of Brownie Troop #951. With her predeceased sister-in-law, Linda Welch. Beth enjoyed many years at their camp in Rubacks Grove on Galway Lake. She walked with her friends there and volunteered at several of the activities at the Rubacks Pavilion and was an avid reader. Funeral services will be held at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes, on Saturday June 8, 2024, at 11:00am. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 prior to the service. Beth Ann will be laid to rest alongside her daughter, Amber, in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford. Friends who wish to remember Beth Ann in a special way may donate to The Community Hospice of Saratoga County or the American Cancer Society in her name.
