Cohoes, NY – Marilyn W. Fink, 89, formerly of Albany and Schodack passed peacefully on Friday, April


26t, 2024. Born and raised in Sandy Lake PA, she was the daughter of the late William B. and Grace


White. Marilyn met her late husband Ronald Fink while living in Sharon, PA. She and Ron moved to the


Albany area in the late sixties where they raised their two children. Marilyn had many interests including


knitting, gardening, reading, attending church and reciting poetry to anyone who would listen. As a


homemaker, wife, and mother, she was always striving to teach her family to examine matters from


different perspectives. Marilyn is survived by her daughter Anne (Steve) Mercer and her son William Fink. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Abby Fink, Haylee Mercer, and Evan Fink.


Services will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024, at 10:00am at Dufresne Funeral Home, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 9:00 to 10:00am prior to the service.
