Schenectady – Gary L. Allen, 69, of Schenectady, passed away at Albany Medical Center Hospital, Albany on Saturday, July 29, 2023.  He was born in St. Johnsbury, Vermont and was the son of the late Robert Bigelow and Waneta Allen.  He was educated at Heatley School, in Green Island. He worked for Marktech in Albany.  Husband of the late Jacqueline Allen.  Father of James S. (Angie) Allen, Jeremy Allen of Saratoga Springs, and Christina Allen (Timothy Whitcomb) of Schenectady and grandfather of Tyler Hatch.  Brother of Larry, Bill, Mark, Tammy, and Judy, also survived by nieces and nephews.
