Cohoes – Frank J. D’Amico, 83 of Cohoes passed away at his home on Friday June 2, 2023, with his family by his side. Born in Troy, he was the son of the late Anthony and Theresa Ranville D’Amico. Frank was a US Army Veteran. Frank worked for CDTA for 35 years as a bus driver, was an avid car enthusiast and enjoyed playing the saxophone. Husband of the late Dawne D’Amico. Survived by his children Deborah (Robert) Phillips of Latham, Frank (Tanya) D’Amico of Latham, Anthony (Mary) D’Amico of Troy, Denna D’Amico of Halfmoon, Gino D’Amico of Cohoes and the late Dawne D’Amico, 18 Grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. Brother of Roger D’Amico of Cohoes, Carl D’Amico of Melrose, and the late Russell D’Amico. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Saturday 9AM at St. Michael’s Church, Cohoes where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4PM-7PM at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, INC. 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes, NY 12047.
