Francis J. Kelley, 81, of Troy, passed away with his family by his side at St. Peter’s Hospice, Albany, on Saturday, May 20, 2023. He was born in Cohoes and was the son of the late Walter and Theresa Campbell Kelley. He was a graduate of Cohoes High School. Francis owned Kelley Moving Company in Troy for many years. He was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan and NY Yankees fan. Husband of 62 years to Judith Hourigan Kelley of Troy, father of Melainie Larive of Troy, Diana Trudeau of Rotterdam, Joan (Mike) Waz of Troy and Wendy (Erica) Kelley of Ballston Lake, also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Brother of Edward Kelley, Thomas (Brenda) Kelley, Agnes (Gerald) Wardwell, Sue (Harold) St. Gelais and the late Walter Kelley, also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at 9:30am at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 4 to 7pm. The family would like to thank the staff at Samaritan Hospital and St. Peter’s Hospice.
