Cohoes – Leona M. Robideau, 85, of Cohoes passed away at Samaritan Hospital, Troy on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, after a long illness.  She was born in AuSable Forks, NY and was educated in Cohoes. Daughter of the late Wilfred and Viola Sawyer Seguin.  Wife of the late David Robideau. Mother of Julie (Ronald) Richards of Cohoes, Wayne Robideau of Cohoes and the late Kenneth Robideau.  Grandmother of Jeffrey Richards of Watervliet, Nicole (Nick) Pistilli of Scotia and great grandmother of Isabella and Gianna Pistilli. Sister of Deborah (Dolan) Brammer of Cohoes and the late Cortland Seguin, also survived by several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023 at 11:30am at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 9 to11:30am prior to the service. Inurnment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford. Special thanks to “Red” who was a special friend and caretaker for over 10 years.
