Cohoes – Susan J. Mostek, 63, of Cohoes, passed away at Collar City Nursing and Rehabilitation, Troy on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. She was born in Troy, educated in Cohoes schools and was the daughter of the late Robert and Jacqueline Prouty Rogowski.  Susan was a secretary for the NYS Public Service Commission, consumer service analyst for NYS Public Service Commission and later medical transcriptionist for Dr. Mohamed Ismail in Waterford.  She liked to do crafts and going to craft shows. Wife of 43 years to Alan Mostek of Cohoes and mother of Alan (Chantelle) Mostek of Ohio and grandmother of Madison and Scarlett.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at 12:30pm at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes with Rev. Jeremiah Lennox officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:30am to 12:30pm prior to the service. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford. Friends who wish to remember Sue in a special way may donate to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, Menands in her memory.
