Diane G. Brown, 65, of Cohoes passed away at her residence on Monday, February 6, 2023. She was born in Cohoes, graduated from Cohoes High School and was the daughter of the late William and Diane Rettinger Moran.  Diane retired from Russell Sage College in Albany after 30 years of service, she worked the NYS Theatre Institute in Russell Sage at the Troy campus. She worked at Cohoes Memorial Hospital and was a dispatcher for the  Cohoes Fire Department on Vliet Street. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her family, attending concerts with her friends and taking care of her animals.  Survivors are her children, Patricia (Derek) Wigley of FL, Christina Brown of Cohoes, Rose Brown (Rosa Hoffman) of Pine Bush, NY, and Daniel T. Brown, II of Cohoes, 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.  Sister of the late Alice Reamer and William Moran. Also survived by her former husband and friend Daniel T. Brown and many nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 3:00pm In the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia St., Cohoes.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 noon to 3:00pm. prior to the service.
