Doris A. Clairmont Bressette, 89, of Cohoes passed away at Samaritan Hospital, Troy on Thursday, March 30, 2017 after a short illness. Born and educated in Cohoes and was the daughter of the late Alfred and Lena Guerin Clairmont. She was a home maker devoting her time to raising her children. She was a member of the St. Anne's Society. Wife of the late Wilfred E. Bressette, Sr. Survived by her children, Lena (Lawrence) Krauss of Troy, Faith (Alain) Desrosiers of Waterford, Allan J. (Darcy) Bressette, Sr. of Poestenkill, Ida May (Mark) Charette of Cohoes, George A. (Jane) Bressette of Georgia and the late Rose Marie Holmes and Wilfred E. Bressette, Jr., also 17 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Tuesday 9:30am at St. Mary's the Assumption Church, Waterford where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Waterford. Relatives and friends may call at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes on Monday from 4 to 7pm.
