Adirondack, NY – Mark A. Shepard, 59, of Adirondack, NY passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 11, 2022. He was born and educated in Cohoes and is the son of Marie Gamache of Colonie and Gil Shepard, Sr. of Cohoes. He was owner and operator of Shep’s Auto Repair in Mechanicville. Mark enjoyed riding his Harley, traveling, singing and most of all he enjoyed entertaining his family and friends. Survivors in addition to his parents are his children, Meagan Shepard and Mike Kortz of Troy, Amanda Shepard and Matt Chatham of Mechanicville, Aimee Shepard of Mechanicville, and Nicolas Shepard of Halfmoon, his sole mate Tracy Sullivan of Adirondack, NY. Brother of Gil Shepard, Jr. of Colonie, Kim Cooper of Cohoes and the late Michele Castracane. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at 1:00 at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes with Rev. Nick TeBordo officiating. Interment will follow in Waterford Rural Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 11:00 to 1:00 prior to the service.
