Cohoes – Barbara A. (Bazar) LeBlanc, 70, of Cohoes passed away at Saratoga Hospital, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 after a long illness. Born in Troy, she graduated from Shaker High School and was the daughter of the late Peter and Eleanor (Medwid) Bazar. She was a secretary for Liberty Mutual Insurance in Latham for many years before retiring. Barbara loved to go to Foxwoods and the Racino. Survivors include her children, Kelli (John) Mazzariello of Watervliet, Rick LeBlanc (Alyson) of Ballston Lake and Jason LeBlanc of Cohoes, her grandchildren, Ryan, Kristin, Anthony, Danielle, Gabrielle, Luke, Gavin, Griffin and Amelia. Sister of Mary (Bill) Sickles of Cohoes and Natalie Guerin of Watervliet, also survived by her nieces and nephews. Funeral Saturday, 9:30am at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes with Deacon Charles Valenti officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens, Colonie. Relatives and Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4 to 7pm. Those who wish to remember Barbara in a special way may donate to Crohn's and Colitis Foundation Upstate Northeastern New York Chapter, 103 Patroon Dr., Guilderland, NY 12084 in her memory.
