Cohoes – David W. Robideau, 85, of Cohoes passed away at his residence on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, with his family by his side. He was born in Troy and educated in Watervliet and was the son of the late Archie and Eva Kaschak Robideau. David retired from Bendix in Green Island as a machinist. He was an avid outdoorsman. Husband of 62 years Leona Seguin Robideau of Cohoes. Father of Julie (Ronald) Richards of Watervliet, Wayne Robideau of Cohoes and the late Kenneth Robideau. Grandfather of Jeffrey Richards of Watervliet and Nicole (Nick) Pistilli of Scotia and great grandfather of Isabella and Gianna Pistilli. Brother of Samuel Robideau, Joseph Robideau, Paul Robideau and Josephine Ohanian and the late Edward, and Johnny Robideau. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 22, 2022, at 11:00am at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 9 to 11:00am prior to the service. Inurnment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford.
