Obituary of Peter G Bonneau
Cohoes – Peter G. Bonneau, 67, of Cohoes, passed away at Samaritan Hospital, Troy on Monday, April 11, 2022. He was born in Cohoes and was the son of the late Henry and Anita Gagnon Bonneau. He graduated from NYSSB in Batavia, NY. He went to culinary college, Johnson and Wales in Providence, Rhode Island. He was owner/operator of Pete’s Café in Latham for several years. He retired from WWARC on Krumkill Road, Slingerlands in October 2021. In school he was a member of the Kiwanis Club, he was a wrestler, he bowled on Tuesday nights in the Men’s Business League. He is survived by his siblings, Ida Renaud of Watervliet, Veronica (David) Mero of Cohoes, Rosemary Bonneau of Cohoes, Ann Bonneau of Cohoes, Deborah (Leroy) Albertson of Cohoes and Margaret (Ridgeway) Trimble of Baltimore and brother of the late Sandra Bonneau, Paul Bonneau, Pauline Pease, and Raymond Bonneau. Survived by several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at The Church of the Holy Trinity, Cohoes on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at 1:30pm. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford. Relatives and friends may call at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, from 4 to 7pm.
