Cohoes – Kathryn (Kathy) M. Gagnon Blair, 88, of Cohoes, passed away at The Eddy Village Green, Cohoes, on Sunday, April 3, 2022. She was born in Cohoes and was the daughter of the late Albert and Teresa Corcoran Gagnon. Kathy attended Catholic Central High School and Cohoes High School. She graduated from BOCES in Albany for nursing, she was a nurse’s aide at the old Cohoes Memorial Hospital before becoming an LPN. She was a supervisor at Barclay Home Products in Cohoes for many years. A volunteer and Vice President of the Auxilians and Volunteers of the Eddy Cohoes Rehabilitation Center and was the gift shop buyer. Wife of the late Charles J. Blair, Sr. Survived by her sons, Charles J. (Donna) Blair, Jr. of Berlin, NY, Michael J. (Susan) Blair of Buskirk, Joseph A. (Delena) Blair of Cohoes, Douglas J. (Robin) Blair of Cohoes, Daniel J. (Betsy) Blair of Troy and the late Christopher J. Blair, her twenty grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. Sister of the late Margaret Tombelio, June O’Brien, Mary Theresa Collins, and Joseph Gagnon. Also survived by her brother-in-law David Blair of Cohoes and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Holy Trinity, Cohoes on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at 11:00am. Interment will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery, Cohoes. Relatives and friends may call at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes on Monday April 11, 2022, from 4 to 7pm.
