Cohoes – Lucille M. Dupuis Whimple, 98, of Cohoes passed away at Van Rensselaer Manor, Troy on Saturday, April 2, 2022. She was born and educated in Cohoes and was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Florida Lalonde Dupuis. Wife of the late Lawrence Whimple. Mother of the late Lawrence Whimple, Jr. Sister of Raymond Dupuis of Latham, Dolor Dupuis of Troy and Lillian Sweeney of Cohoes, sister of the late Loretta Dupuis, Annette Launsbach, and Simone Nailor. Survived by her nieces, Nancy Doran of Cohoes, Christina Sweeney of Wildwood, NJ, and also survived by several other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at 11:30am at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Troy. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 10:00 to 11:30am prior to the service.
