Type Obit Evertsen obituary to run on March 15, 2017 and short on March 16, 2017 Bennington, VT. – Eunice (Beverly) Beavers Evertsen, 77, formerly of Cohoes and Petersburg, passed away at the Crescent Manor Care Center, Bennington, Vt. on Friday, March 10, 2016 after a long illness. Born and educated in Orlando, FL., she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Ruby Burgess Beavers. She was a supervisor for NYS Criminal Justice in Albany for many years. Mother of Kim- Lorane (Nobuyuki) Kawai of Japan, Timothy Evertsen of Petersburg and Darlene (James) Seaburg of FeuraBush, grandmother of Michael and Jacob Baumes and the late Jeremey Evertsen and Jordan Baumes. Sister of Betty Hargrove of Texas, David Beavers and James Beavers of NC, Darlene Bender and Ronald Beavers of FL and the late Mildred Bourff and Ernest Beavers, also survived by nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Thursday 11:00am at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 9:00 to 11:00 prior to the service. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens, Colonie.
