Obituary of Edna M. Jordan

Troy – Edna M. Murphy Jordan, 89, of Troy passed away at her residence on Thursday, September 9, 2021.  She was born and educated in Troy and was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Marie Wolfe Murphy.  Edna was a stay-at-home mom choosing to raise her family.  She attended the United Church of Cohoes for many years. She had a very good heart, when someone was in need, she helped them out, she was a generous person.  Wife of the late Gerald Jordan.  Mother of Gerald (Carole) Jordan of Troy, John (Karen) Jordan of Cohoes, Joseph (Rosa) Jordan and Jennelle (Herbie) Lewis of Lake Luzerne, also survived by many grandchildren and many great grandchildren.  Sister of Sandra Popson and Carol Jones, sister of the late George Murphy, Richard Murphy, Janet Zeller, and Kenneth Murphy, also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service to be held on Monday, September 13, 2021, at 5:00pm at the United Church of Cohoes, Mohawk Street, with Rev. Nick TeBordo officiating.
