Lionel A. Jean Obituary

Cohoes – Lionel A. Jean, 82, of Cohoes, passed away at Albany Medical Center on Monday, August 23, 2021.  He was born in Cohoes and was the son of the late Louis and Eva Louprette Jean.  He was a graduate of Cohoes High School.  He served our country in the Army.  He was a Letter Carrier for the Cohoes Post Office retiring after 30 years of service. He was a former member of the Cohoes Moose Club and a long-time member of Cohoes Democratic Committee.  Husband of the late Betty Jean.  Father of David (Kimberly) Jean of Fl and Karen Jean of Albany and grandfather of Katherine Jean.  Brother of Robert Jean, Annette King and Margaret Philbean and brother of the late Mitch LaMarre, Leon LaMarre, Theresa Paradis, Louis Jean, Jean Hebert, Shirley Vincelette and Martha Jean, also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
