Marguerite Plasse Bakerian, 90, passed away at Evergreen Commons on Friday, August 6, 2021.  She was born and educated in Cohoes and was the daughter of the late Armand and Grace Berthiaume Plasse. Marguerite was an Office Manager for many companies, retiring from New York State OGS. She loved and cherished her family every day.  She was married for 50 plus years to the late John Bakerian. Mother of Susan (Brad) Fogarty of Troy, grandmother of Ryan (Maribeth) Fogarty of Troy, Sean (Toni) Fogarty of Schaghticoke and Erin (Jamie) Fogarty of Hudson, FL, also survived by 10 great grandchildren.  Sister of the late Ronald Plasse, she is survived by her sister-in-law Grace Plasse and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes on Monday, August 16, 2021, at 11:00am.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday morning from 9 to 11:00am prior to the service.  Inurnment will follow in Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY. Friends who wish to remember Marguerite in a special way may donate to St. Jude Research Hospital in her memory.
