Alice A. Frament, 88, of Cohoes, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, February 20, 2017. Born in Cohoes and educated in Waterford and Troy schools, she was the daughter of the late Henry A. Robitaille and Louise Mayer Robitaille Butler Carrol. Alice was a meticulous homemaker and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She always saw the good in everyone. Those fortunate enough to know her felt her unconditional love, warmth, positive attitude and joyful sense of humor. Together with her husband of 68 years, Alice enjoyed traveling the world, swimming, dancing, and long walks on the golf course. She especially loved the Wednesday afternoon lunches and Sunday gatherings with family at her home (Camp Alice) around the kitchen table. Alice loved people and was the most welcoming hostess. Afternoon guests were always greeted with a fresh salad, Bella Napoli bread and a glass of wine. Alice is pre-deceased by her husband, Paul F. Frament of Cohoes. She is survived by her loving daughters, Pamela (John) Bosko of Harwich Port, Mass., Nancy (Dan) Szandyba of Cohoes, Marsha (Joseph) Nadeau of Cohoes and Denise (Richard) Lessard of Clifton Park; grandmother of Paul, Craig, Jill and Mark Bosko, Tara Allen, Adam Nadeau, Joelle Nadeau-Hotaling, Andre and Richard (Alex) Lessard and eight great-grandchildren, Caeli, Maya, Wyatt, Sidney, Elijah, Levi, Faelynn and Olive.
