Obituary of William H Gauthier
Latham – William H. Gauthier, 62, of Latham, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, with his wife by his side. Born in Cohoes, he was the son of the late Arthur and Sadie Whittaker Gauthier. He was educated in Boght schools and graduated from Shaker High School. He worked for 42 years for Golub Corp. at multiple locations, lastly at Market 32 in Latham at his time of retirement. An avid NY Giants fan, he enjoyed country music, loved the outdoors, and hunting. He loved cooking, eating, feeding others, and having a cold beer. A former member of Boght Rod and Gun Club. Most importantly an amazing and involved grandfather (Pip). He loved and cherished his dogs. Survivors include his beloved wife, of 26 years, Catherine M. Foley Gauthier, his children William H. (Sabrina) Gauthier, II of Hoosick Falls, Nadine (Scott) Maxfield of Sand Lake, his grandchildren, Adrianna, Brandon, Scotty, Aaliyah, Hunter, Danica, and Easton. Brother of Arthur J. Gauthier, also survived by nieces, nephews,brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass to be celebrated at Our Lady of Victory Church, North Lake Ave., Troy on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at 11:00am. The family will receive friends at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia St., Cohoes on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, from 4 to 7pm. The family would like to thank NYOH and Hospice for the excellent care given to their loved one.
