I am so very sorry to learn just today of Frances's passing. We worked together at OMH and stayed in touch after.
I was going to send her a note to say hello and found out she had passed when I googled her to confirm her current address. Frances was an indomitable spirit and a kind and strong soul. Her struggles with her illness never infringed on her spirit. I will miss our too rare communication.

6 months later, I am finding out about Frances’ passing, but she was an awesome lady. I met her on the train when I was young, maybe about 7. We were coming back from NYC and we were sat next to each other and she shared some snacks with me, talked to me and my mom, and we exchanged addresses to write letters to each other. I wrote her a few letters and i’m glad I did. I wish I could write her one more letter, and I wish I knew about this sooner. A stranger met on a train was way more than a stranger. May she rest in peace<3

I am just learning of Frances passing. It seems like we just spoke I promised Frances that I would continue sending out cards to others for a pick me up. We have been friends the day she came to OMH. I always found comfort in her words of wisdom. I will miss you dear friend. Job well done Ms. Frances

My thoughts and prayers are with all of Frances' family and friends. I met Frances many years ago and became fast friends with her. She was an amazing woman who was accepting of all and seemed to exude a certain peace. I enjoyed my many talks with Frances and she will be missed by so very many.
