Obituary of Paul W. DeMarco

Please share a memory of Paul to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Green Island – Paul W. DeMarco, 59, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 22, 2021. Born in Cohoes, Paul was the son of Paul J. (Donna) DeMarco, Jr., and Eileen V. Connery Shepard (William). Paul was a graduate of Heatly High School and had a long-time career in hair design. He was a member of the Vagabond Club in Green Island. Paul was a man with a kind heart who kept to himself but enjoyed gatherings with his family and friends. He loved nature, especially his turtles, as well as gardening and his trip to the beach in Rhode Island. Our family hopes that he and his brother, Bob, are together again with all the people we all love. Survivors in addition to his parents are his sister Laurie (Steve) Karwiel, and his brother the late Robert S. DeMarco, also survived by his sister-in-law Lisa DeMarco, his nephews, Scott and Christopher Karwiel, and Adam DeMarco, as well as his nieces, Amanda, and Ashlee (Anna) DeMarco. Friends who wish to remember Paul in a special way may donate in Paul’s memory to the Vagabond Club, 38 George St., Green Island, NY 12183 or to the Foundation for Faces of Children, 258 Harvard St. #367, Brookline, MA 02446. Services private at the convenience of the family.
