My wife and I moved to Central Avenue in Cohoes only 5 short years ago. We had been parishioners of St. Marys in Waterford for a few years before that. We were both surprised and delighted when we learned that the sweet lady, always accompanied by two of her children, who sat in front of us at Mass on Sunday; lived three doors down from us. We miss seeing Mrs. Evertsen at St. Marys, and our heartfelt condolences go out to Jim, Maryellen, Dawn, and the entire Evertsen family.
