Obituary of Joan M. Boudreau

Mechanicville – Joan McGowan Boudreau, 86, of Mechanicville, passed away at St. Peter’s Hospital, Albany with her family by her side on Wednesday, November 13, 2019.  She was born in Troy, graduated from Catholic Central High School and attended Troy Business School.  Daughter of the late Philip and Lucy Pemrick McGowan.  Joan was a homemaker, raising her family before being employed at various businesses in the area.  Wife of the late George A. Boudreau.  Survived by her children, Cathy Boudreau of Mechanicville, George P. Boudreau of Wells, NY and Gary Boudreau (Paula Liermann) of Durango, Col., grandmother of Christopher, Aaron and Casey.  Sister of Jim McGowan of Colonie and the late Pvt.  Philip T. McGowan (KIA North Korea) and John C. McGowan, also survived by nieces.  Funeral Tuesday, November 19, 2019 11:00am at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes with Rev.
