Victoria M. Stopera Parker, 88, of Cohoes passed away at her residence on Sunday, December 18, 2016 after a brief illness. Born and educated in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late Karl and Frances Stopera. Victoria retired from Kay's Kaps in Green Island. Wife of the late Donald Parker. Mother of Donna (John) Pyskadlo of Cohoes, Donald (Ellen) Parker, Jr. of Cohoes and Mary Parker of Cohoes and the late Robert J. Parker and David J. Parker. Grandmother of Jennifer Pyskadlo, Robyn (Joe) Pupello, Lisa (Gary) Robideau, Jarrod (Lindsay) Parker, Derek Parker and James (Samantha) McCarthy, great grandmother of Aubrey and Rocco, also survived by several nieces, nephews and beloved feline Cleo. Funeral Wednesday, 10:00am at St. Michael's Church, Cohoes where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery, Cohoes. Relatives and friends may call at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes on Tuesday from 5 to 7pm. Those who wish to remember Victoria in a special way may make a donation to Hospice of Rensselaer County in her memory.
