Obituary of Lucille F Husarik

Lucille F. Husarik, 93, of Watervliet, passed away at The Teresian House, Albany on Saturday, January 26, 2019.  Born in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Eva Bariteau Casey.  Educated in St. Joseph’s School in Cohoes, graduated from Cohoes High School and a graduate of Siena College in 1950 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.  Lucille taught at St. Marie’s School in Cohoes and Woburn Public School in Woburn, MA retiring in 1993.  She volunteered at Mt. Royal Academy in Sunapee, New Hampshire.  She was a communicant of Church of Our Lady of Assumption in Latham. She was predeceased by her husband, Francis A. Husarik and her son David C. Husarik.  Survived by her sister, Ethel Coutu of Cohoes, her daughter-in-law Laura Husarik of Woburn, MA, her sister-in-law Rita Tsokalas of Weathersfield, Conn and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 10:00am at the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, Latham where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Geoffrey D. Burke.  Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford.  Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Saturday morning from 9 to 10:00am at the Church preceding the Funeral Mass.
