Obituary of Patricia A Jacques
Patricia A. Giamis Jacques, 78, of Cohoes passed away at her residence on Thursday, January 10, 2019. She was born and educated in Troy and was the daughter of the late Edna M. Giamis and Charles F. Giamis. Pat was a devoted member of the American Legion Post 476 in Cohoes, serving in many capacities at the Legion for many years. She loved to go to casinos and make people laugh. She was predeceased by her husband, David Jacques, her sister Linda Conway and her brother Anthony Giamis. Survivors include her sisters, Frances White of Lansingburgh and Mary Repp of Lansingburgh and her sister-in-law Karen Giamis of Ballston Spa. Also survived by Sheila Primeau of Cohoes, Gerald and Ilah Oliver of Cohoes, George and Dawn Gamache of Cohoes, Barbara Borden of Cohoes, Brianna Lee of Cohoes and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral will be held Monday, January 14, 2019 at 11:00am in St. Augustine Church, Lansingburgh where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford. Relatives and friends may call at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes on Monday morning from 8:30 to 10:30am prior to the service. Friends who wish to remember Pat in a special way may contribute to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Unit 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256 in her memory.
