Harold (Hal) J. Perry, 91, of Halfmoon passed away peacefully on Monday, December 31, 2018. Hal was born and educated in Cohoes and was the son of the late Ernest and Emma Gladu Perry.  He worked at Metropolitan Life Insurance for 21 years as a sales representative and Rensselaer Honda for 10 years as a sales person. In 2002 he was President of the Cohoes Senior Center and was Director of the Silver Tops.  He is survived by his wife Patricia Russell Perry of Halfmoon, his children Patricia Ann Sabourin of Halfmoon, Harold Perry, Jr. (Dale) of Halfmoon, Arthur Perry (Lisa) of Cleverdale and Randall Perry (Barbara) of Schaghticoke. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  He is predeceased by his brothers, Ernest Perry, Laurence Perry and his sister Delores Mailloux.  Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 10:00am at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes with Deacon Charles Valenti officiating.  Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford.  Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 4 to 7pm.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Cohoes Senior Center in Harold’s memory.
