Obituary of Gary B. Sawyer

Grafton – Gary B. Sawyer, 71, of Grafton passed away at VA Medical Center, Albany, on Monday, November 5, 2018.  Born in Troy, he was a graduate of New Smyrna Beach High School. Son of the late Leo and Rita Hamel Sawyer.  He was a US Air Force veteran.  Owner of Sawyer Electric in Cohoes for many years and he worked at River Valley Radio.  Gary loved sitting by the camp fire, traveling and riding his Harley Davidson.  He is survived by his partner in this life, Bonnie, his son Jayson, his doggie daughter, Bailey and his brother Ronald (Linda) and his late sister, Joan   Also survived by nieces and nephews.  Relatives and friends may call at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes on Thursday, from 4 to 7pm.  Inurnment and services will take place at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville on Thursday November 15, 2018 at 12:00 noon.
