Obituary of John J Trudeau
John (Jack) Trudeau, 86, of Cohoes, passed away at his residence with his family by his side on Thursday, June 7, 2018. Born and educated in Cohoes, he was the son of the late Horace and Helen Cunningham Trudeau. He was a Marine Veteran serving in the Korean War and was a member of E-2-5 Association (Korea). Also, a member of the VFW. He retired from General Electric in Waterford after 35 years of service. A parishioner of the Church of the Holy Trinity. He loved to garden, he especially loved his grandsons, he was very proud of them. Husband of the late Jeanne Bernard Trudeau. Father of Linda (John) DiCarlo of New Hampshire and Janet (Richard) Eustace of Cohoes. Grandfather of Matthew, Paul, Zachary and Ryan and great grandfather of Daniela, Lucia and Emma. Predeceased by brothers and sisters, also survived by several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 11:00am from the Church of the Holy Trinity, Cohoes where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford with full Military Honors. Relatives and friends may call at the Church of the Holy Trinity, Vliet Blvd., Cohoes on Monday morning from 9 to 11:00am prior to the Mass. Friends who wish to remember Jack in a special way make a contribution to the American Heart Association.
