Evelyn M. Ayotte Ormin, 83, of Cohoes passed away at Diamond Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Troy on Monday, February 22, 2016 after a long illness. Born and educated in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late John and Evelina Venne Ayotte. She was a homemaker. Wife of the late Joseph St. Gelais and Richard Ormin. Mother of Theresa Werner of Clifton Park, Dianna (William) McKinley of Cohoes, Joanne Jeanson of Cohoes, Lisa (Dean) Charbonneau of Clifton Park, Wanda Jhonston of Troy and the late Virginia Bishop and Joseph St. Gelais, III. Sister of John Ayotte of Arizona, Joseph Ayotte of Pennsylvania, Kenneth Ayotte and Allen Ayotte both of Clifton Park, also survived by 16 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Thursday 10:00am at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes. Interment will follow in Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 to 7pm. Those who wish to remember Evelyn in a special way may make a contribution to the Alzheimer's Association.
